About Us

Charles Muller began his encounter with American antiques in 1963 while furnishing an apartment. He exhibited at a few shows in Ohio in the early 1970s before joining the staff of the (Ohio) Antique Review where he became the editor/owner. In addition to the hundreds of articles written for that publication, he is known for...

The Shaker Way, a compilation of 40 articles originally appearing in the (Ohio) Antique Review from 1975 to 1979.

The Shaker Chair, co-authored with Timothy Reiman with illustrations by Stephen Metzger, the definitive tome on this distinctive piece of Shaker furniture.

Ohio Furniture: 1788-1888, an exhibition at the Columbus Museum of Art, where he served as guest curator.

Soap Hollow: The Furniture and its Makers, a comprehensive examination of the furniture and the 11 craftsmen who product it outside Johnstown, Pa..
